We did enjoy the tour, guide was good did know the History of Gastown. Food along the way was good, Fish and Chips not so good. We all enjoyed the Pork bun and Chicken soft bun, must enjoyed was the Pasta and Sauce. The size of all food samples was great. The end of the tour there were 4 sweet samples, to many without a drink, there should have been a coffee. We were told about Tipping twice, not good. Also your site has two different tip % you should sort that out, is it 10/15 or 15/20.
Not only do you get to eat some great food and try great local beer and wine in some excellent establishments but you also get to learn a whole lot about the history of Vancouver. Tour guide Brent was excellent with his knowledge of the food, and history he also explained everything so well and is an excellent story teller. Highly recommended!! Word of warning don’t eat before this tour and if your planning dinner after it plan it to be a later dinner. I was full as a boot by the end!
My husband & I very much enjoyed our Walking Food Tour of Gastown on August 8th. We sampled many tasty treats as well as a few refreshing beverages along the way. Among the favorite places we visited were Bao Down Snack Bar, Peckinpah & Soft Peaks. Hats off to our guide Mathieson who made our tour both interesting and entertaining. A terrific way to learn more about the history of the area as well as indulge in some delicious food. We highly recommend it!
Tour guide Brent brought us to multiple different locations where we were given tasting portions of a variety of foods, beverages and desserts. Along with the historical anecdotes, this tour was both informative and delicious. 10/10 would recommend.
Our guide Sean was friendly, entertaining knowledgeable & we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We were full & foods were yummy. Will definitely go it again with family & friends the next time we visit rainy Vancouver
