    1. Vancouver: Capilano Suspension Bridge Park Self-Guided Tour

Only 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, take a walk on Vancouver's wild side as you stand 230 feet (70m) above the waters of the Capilano River on a breath-taking 450-foot-long (137-metres) suspension bridge. Appreciate nature from 3 breath-taking perspectives - the world-famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, the Treetops Adventure, and the thrilling Cliffwalk.  This 27-acre park was made famous by its namesake bridge, which was built back in 1889, and has been added onto with even more attractions to let you experience the temperate rainforests of beautiful British Columbia.  While the wobbly bridge and stunning location is a Vancouver landmark, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park offers an all-encompassing BC experience. History, culture, and nature are presented in unique and thrilling ways with knowledgeable staff and interpretive signage providing as much, or as little, information as gu...

  • Vancouver, BC: Half-Day Whale Watching Tour

    3. Vancouver, BC: Half-Day Whale Watching Tour

Experience whale watching in true comfort and style along the waters off Vancouver. See several types of whales, as well as an assortment of sea birds and other marine species. Marvel at the beauty of the Gulf Islands, San Juan Islands and Howe Sound on this 3-6 hour adventure. An informative crew will tell you about the history of the area and about the marine wildlife. Board the Salish Sea Freedom, a 62-foot covered vessel built for whale watching, and designed to minimize its ecological footprint. You can choose to be inside or outside, and can choose from 3 viewing areas on 2 levels.

Whale watching is something I’ve always wanted to do but having a fear of boats and the ocean has prevented me in the past. My partner and I were only 8hours drive away so I decided to bite the bullet and do it. I booked a hotel, booked the trip, bought ginger gravol and pressure bands for my wrists and off we went! No sea sickness; the water was smooth and the boat just glided over it nicely than a car on the road! The whole experience was an enjoyable and positive one that I will always remember and to see these wonderful creatures in real life was just breathtaking!

This was a great tour. We were picked up at our hotel by Nola. She was awesome and gave us a lot of great information about the area. We joined the rest of the group and set our for our adventure. Leslie was our guide and he was awesome. 24 in our group. We made a few extra stops at sights that were nice to see. Plenty of restrooms where we went. The Capilano suspension bridge was on my bucket list. It was awesome and we went on some other paved hikes - cliff walks and treetops adventure. Really incredible views. Beautiful place. There are a couple shops and restaurants you can visit there too. Grouse mountain was great too. We highly recommend this tour. Appropriate for all ages.

Enjoyed the flight over. Very smooth flight. Awesome views from the sky. Great experience! Victoria was nice, but was disappointed that there wasn't more to see and do. In hindsight, we should have included Butchart Gardens in our excursion. The ferry ride back to Vancouver was nice. We did have a communication issue such that our flights were booked incorrectly, but Get Your Guide handled our complaint promptly and to our full satisfaction. I would recommend using them in the future.
