Head down Route 68 from Santiago, passing through the Curacavi Valley on this full-day tour. Stop in Casablanca for a courtesy wine and olive oil tasting. Continue to Valparaiso on the Pacific coast. UNESCO declared the city’s historic center a Cultural Patrimony of Humanity. Admire its colorful houses, including La Sebastiana, one of the homes of poet and Nobel Laureate Pablo Neruda. Next is a visit to the popular seaside resort of Vina del Mar, where you can choose to have lunch at a restaurant. The town is known as the Garden City for its numerous parks and beautiful flowers. Enjoy all the coast until Reñaca the most popular beach area of the region. On the return drive, you’ll visit Via Las Palmas, a unique place with palm trees on its hills.

Admire the stunning massifs, estuaries, and rivers of the Andes Mountains on a full-day trip to the Cajon del Maipo on this van tour. Enjoy a delicious picnic in a stunning natural setting along the way. See sights like the Tinoco Tunnel and pass by charming, traditional towns.  Depart Santiago and journey to San Jose de Maipo in a spacious and air-conditioned van. Listen as your guide tells you about the folklore of the area. Head towards the volcano and see small towns like Las Vertientes, El Canelo, El Manzano, El Melocoton and San Alfonso.  Learn the history of the Tinoco Tunnel as you make your way along a dirt road to the large lake of Embalse del Yeso. Stop at the reservoir to enjoy a picnic-style snack with cheese, olives, salami, juice, wine, and more.  Start back towards Santiago at around 3:00 PM and be dropped off at your hotel or in the city center at approximately 6:00 PM.

Following pick-up from your hotel (available from the districts of Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura and Santiago Centro), depart Santiago and journey to the beautiful ski resort of Farellones. Nestled in a small valley in the Andes Mountains, Farellones was the first ski center to open in Chile and continues to attract skiers of all abilities. Take a scenic 2-hour drive along a mountain road to get wonderful views of the mountains.  During the winter, benefit from the chance to stop to rent snow gear (at your own expense), and learn more about the historical aspects of how this little community works during the winter season. Stop at the Colorado Ski Resort, the second most popular ski resort in the central region. After a brief stop, continue on the road again to adventure towards the Valle Nevado Ski Resort. Once there, enjoy free time to explore the activities available at your own expense. Try out a variety of snowsports, take the air-conditioned Gondola for amazing views of the Andes and the Paloma Glacier, or you can enjoy lunch at one of the 3 different restaurants. If you prefer, relax in the lodge and enjoy lunch (at your own expense) overlooking the snow-capped mountains. Return to Santiago and get dropped off at approximately 06:00 PM.

4. Santiago: Portillo, Inca Lagoon with Optional Aconcagua Park

Your tour will begin as you are picked up from your centrally located Santiago hotel, at which point you will begin driving to Portillo. You will pass through the intermediate depression, and will also be able to admire the Andes mountain range. You will soon reach the Chacabuco Monument, which is a historical site where a battle for Chile's independence took place in 1817. You will then cross a tunnel which borders the region, before reaching a place where you can see the Aconcagua Mount in the background. Along the road, you will see the old Andean railway and, as we cross Rio Blanco, you can admire the small towns, mining camps, glaciers, and the impressive Andes mountains. You will reach Portillo and see the protective passageways that were built as shelters from avalanches which occur during the winter season. It will then be time for lunch (not included), as you marvel at the beautiful and imposing Inca Lagoon. Finally, you will be returned to your hotel in Santiago. If you choose the option with Aconcagua Park, you will also see Puente del Inca, a geomorphological curiosity that is 48 meters long, 28 meters wide, 8 meters thick, and is suspended 27 meters above the river. A series of stalactites, calcium inflorescences and winter ice needles hang from this natural bridge. After the visit to the Puente del Inca, head to the Aconcagua Provincial Park, where you can see the highest mountain in South America. Depending on time availability, a short trek may be available for interested guests.

The tour starts with pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned van. You will head north from the city of Santiago taking Los Libertadores highway until the first stop to a giant monument that pertains to one of the most important episodes of Chilean history. Following this you will continue on the road, crossing the Chacabuco Tunnel, to the Aconcagua valley, declared the last winery valley of the country. On the road you will see Mount Aconcagua which has the tallest summit of the western and southern hemisphere. You will get to meet the official pet of Portillo Ski Center, a big St Bernard, which welcomes you to the start of your visit.  You will then have free time to visit the ski resort and the marvelous Inca Lagoon which is located between the mountains, this lagoon also has a beautiful history about an Incan King attached to it. You are also able to take the ski lift and enjoy a lunch with a beautiful view of the lagoon. At the conclusion of the tour, you will be brought back to your hotel in Santiago.

Starting from your hotel in Santiago, meet your guide and travel 120 km to the Pacific Ocean through the Curacavi Valley where you will have the chance to see diverse scenery. On the road, stop in the typical hostelry Millahue for the chance to taste the typical Chilean drink, the "chicha". Arrive in Valparaiso and admire the amazing houses on the hills. Take a sightseeing tour of Victoria Square, Sotomayor Square, the naval heroes monument, and the May 21st Lookout. Take a walk into the hills, using 1 or 2 elevators or explore the bay area. Next stop in Viña del Mar, the city known as the Garden City. Departing between 8:00 - 8:30 AM, head towards the wine-producing region of the Maipo Valley. In under an hour, you will arrive at the town of Isla de Maipo where you will make your first stop at the Tarapaca Vineyard. From there, observe the beautiful surroundings and take some fantastic photographs. See the Maipo River, which is so important to Central Chile, and learn about the flora and fauna of the area. Following this, explore the town of Isla de Maipo and get to know its customs, architecture, and distinctive character. The next part of the experience starts with a visit to either De Martino, Santa Ema or Undurraga Vineyard. See the gardens, vineyards, and storage cellar at one of these traditional vineyards, ending with a wine tasting. Next, enjoy a wine and cheese tasting as you visit a small family vineyard that has been producing wines and spirits for 3 generations.  finish the tour, you're invited to the local partner's facilities, located in a beautiful agricultural field nestled between some hills. Since it's lunchtime, you'll sample the best food and drinks that local producers have to offer. Enjoy some local recipes and flavours to end this unique tour.  If you wish to be dropped in Santiago, the arrival time will be around 05:00 PM. It is possible to be dropped at your hotel in Santiago or at the airport. You may also choose to be dropped at San Antonio. If you choose the latter, the drop-off time will be 3 PM.

Stop for lunch and a glass of wine at 12:30 PM, and then continue to the hot springs of Baños Colina, located about 100 kilometers from Santiago at an altitude of 2,500 meters above sea level. Enjoy panoramic views of the Andes Mountains while sitting in a natural pool that can reach temperatures of 50°C. Return to Santiago at 3:30 PM for an arrival and drop off at approximately 7:00 PM.
