Full description
Discover Valencia's streets, squares, monuments and most important historical sites the fun way. Feel the warm sea breeze on your face as you pedal through old and new Valencia and its gardens. Start your tour of Valencia by pedaling downhill to the unique Turia Gardens. Created in a former riverbed, Valencia's garden park stretches for 13 km (8 miles), and winds through the city. The Gardens host a variety of cultural and recreational activities throughout the year. Pedal past the Serranos Towers, a small castle which used to be the former main entrance of the medieval walled city. You will also encounter some of the most important historical buildings in this Spanish city such as the Mercado de Colón, Gardens of the Old Hospital, Pillar Square, and the Quart Towers. You will also pass the old University, the Patriarca Church and the Glorieta Gardens. The tour continues along the former riverbed passing by the Music Hall until you reach the City of Arts & Sciences, the new landmark of Valencia, known for its futuristic white architecture designed by world-acclaimed architect Santiago Calatrava. From here you will head back to the starting point following the riverbed crossing many historic and modern bridges as well as cycling past the Fine Arts Museum.

doing a bike tour is a fantastic way to see the city - you can cover way more ground vs. walking and more personal with a guide vs. jumping on & off a city bus. there is no way we would have gotten to see as much of the city as we did in about 3 hours. and our guide adelina was terrific - she stopped at all the city highlights and provided great background about the sites. and no e-bike needed as the route is nice & flat.

Good value for money, great guide - definitely recommend.

The bike tour was a really good mixture of the old and new which typifies Valencia. Our guide Diego was very knowledgeable, made the tour varied and interesting. Wasn’t too hard work as there were plenty of stops during the tour and the route is flat. Couldn’t fault the tour and would definitely recommend it.

    Another way to see Valencia

I really enjoyed the time on the bike and it gives you the opportunity to see Valencia in a different way and get an overview of the city. I had a very friendly english guide and the cycling is not demanding. So it's definitely for everybody. Hence, I would have loved to get a little bit more valuable and interesting information about Valencia or specific buildings. Me and my friend came one minute after the time, and the group already left. So I would suggest you to be 5 minutes before time. Anyway, it was very easy to find the group and we were helped by two men from the agency. Very friendly and uncomplicated. Thank you!
