Full description
Visit Bryce Canyon National Park and hike one of its easiest trails, the Queens Garden Trail. Follow your guide as they take you through stunning scenery and delight on a picnic charcuterie board lunch in the afternoon. Meet your guide and begin the hike at Sunrise Point. See the park's favorite hoodoo, Thor's Hammer. Hike from Sunrise Point to Sunset Point by way of Queens Garden, Navajo Loop, and Wall Street trails. Walk among the towering hoodoos, through carved arches, and along switchback ridges. See a grove of bristlecone pines, the world’s longest-living trees, balancing rocks, and toppled hoodoos. The Wall Street portion of the park is perhaps the most photographed section within the canyon. Arrive at Sunset Point and enjoy incredible views from the outlook. At approximately 1:30 PM break for a charcuterie board picnic lunch at Farview Point. Enjoy cured meats, cheese, fruits, vegetables, nuts, crackers, and spreads. After lunch, head to Rainbow Point, the highest point in Bryce Canyon. Take in the stunning views of the hoodoos and colorful cliffs below. See the Natural Bridge, a beautiful window to the ponderosa pine forest on the canyon floor, and Swamp Canyon. Stop at Bryce Point and enjoy one of the grandest views in the park. Bryce Point shows a wide view where you can see the main amphitheater. Get another view of the main amphitheater from Inspiration Point. Towards the end of your hike pass by Mossy Cave and Waterfall. The mossy cave is a moss garden with water moving through the rocks to create hanging gardens and mossy caves. In the winter months, Mossy Cave is filled with large icicles. The waterfall at Mossy Cave is from a man-made canal which is beautiful against the orange canyon, and a very exciting view as water is so scarce in Bryce Canyon.
