  • Cappadocia: Small-Group Guided Tour

    2. Cappadocia: Small-Group Guided Tour

The driver and the guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning. Then you can decide with them what to visit. Cappadocia's most famous attraction, for good reason, is the Göreme Open Air Museum, a complex of medieval painted cave churches carved out by Orthodox monks. There are over 10 cave churches in the Göreme Open Air Museum. Along with rectories, dwellings, and a religious school, they form a large monastic complex carved out of a roughly ring-shaped rock formation in the otherworldly landscape of Cappadocia. Old Cavusin, with its rock-cut dwellings and stone houses, had several hermitages. The two most important churches in Cavusin are the Great Basilica dedicated to St. John the Baptist and Cavusin Church or the 'Great Pigeon House'. The old city of Avanos, whose name in ancient times was Venessa, overlooks the longest river in Turkey, the Kızılırmak (Red River). The cer...

Really fun experience. Covered everything you need in Cappadocia in a single day and skipped what I wanted to skip. Guide was laid back, informative, and helpful.

After lunch, make a short photo stop at Yaprakhisar Panorama and see the viewpoint with unforgettable views of the cave village and countless fairy chimneys.  End the tour with a visit to the Selime Monastery, one of the biggest and most fascinating religious settlements in Cappa...

Very informative tour. Excellent guide - Miskhut. However tour was listed on GYG as 8 hour tour from 9:00 to 17:00. I was picked up from bus at 9:40 am and was told it will end around 18:30. I and another couple were late to our flights. Our guide had to arrange free private car to transfer us to our hotels.

  • Cappadocia: Private Fairy Chimneys & Underground City Tour

Start your day with pickup from your hotel in Istanbul and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Visit a traditional pottery workshop and see an artist in action. Then head to Uchisar, a troglodyte town named after the enormous piece of rock in the center of the town, which was once used as a castle. A fantastic day

Hairula has been very well prepared, professional and friendly. It has been a pleasure to spend the day with him and Remadam (the driver). We made the red route and a part of the green one, in 7 hours without hurry

Personalized tour in the company of the guide Gem who managed to fulfill all our requests, from the visit to Goreme passing through the Uchisar hill and the underground city of Ozkonak.
