Things to do in Fryderyk Chopin Museum
The Fryderyk Chopin Museum houses the largest collection in the world on Fryderyk Chopin, with over 7500 pieces. It is considered one of the most technologically advanced museums in Europe. Inside the splendid Ostrogski castle there are the Museum, Library, Library of music and photo library.
In 1999, a part of the Chopin Museum's collection, which includes Fryderyk Chopin's musical manuscripts, casts of Chopin's hand, his death mask, books from the composer's father's library and Fryderyk Chopin's last piano were entered part of the UNESCO list.
Since 2005 the museum has been managed by the National Fryderyk Chopin Institute (Narodowy Institute Fryderyka Chopina), a modern multimedia museum that also takes care of Chopin's birthplace in Żelazowa Wola
