Things to do in Centre Pompidou Malaga
The Centre Pompidou Malaga is the first branch of the famous Parisian gallery, and it’s as interesting from the outside as it is inside. The art and exhibition space stands in the heart of Malaga’s marina under a glass Rubik’s-cube-like structure. As you wander the exhibition spaces, you’re entering a world of canvases and sculptures spanning the 20th and 21st-centuries. The permanent collection here shows off with a few pieces by Malaga-born artist Pablo Picasso, as well as surrealist pieces by Joan Miro and the distorted portraits of Francis Bacon. There’s always something new to see, with loads of temporary exhibitions, events and performances across the calendar
