What to expect

Thrills, spills, rides and slides – and lots of fun – await you at Aqualand Maspalomas. One of the largest of water parks in the Canaries, it has more than 30 attractions to keep the whole family grinning all day.

As you top up your tan on the sun terraces, the older kids can tackle the churning, turning new Tornado and sky-high, super-sized slide of the Mamut. There are also rubber ring rides down the whirling waters of the Congo River and at the Mini Park, the teeny ones can try the water chutes, pool games and their own Lazy Rapids. And that's not even counting the wild wave pool, crazily curvy Anaconda and breathtaking drops of the Aquamania, each with its own scary twist at the end.

Add fast food cafés, bars and ice cream parlours, and you've got a great day out of fun in the sun for the whole family.

Obviously was good value for money the place was clean . Some staff were lovely . We had an incident with a Water slide staff seemed rude and unbothered about the pain my partner was in want to medical they didn’t seem at all interested made me rub a cream on and put some spray on didn’t even explain what it was . Left with a bruise spanning across his lover back / bottom Area and down his leg

The park was quiet which enabled my party to use all the rides with little queuing. £33 was average for the ticket entry, although 7 euros per locker to keep your things in was a little expensive, seeing as they were so small you couldn't share one between 2 or 3 people.

This water park is looking decidedly dated and in desperate need of some investment! Everything looks tired and a bit grubby. The rides weren’t all open but we did have fun on the ones that were. On the plus side the queues were short so you got lots of goes.

With the added costs of sunbeds and lockers I would say that the park is overpriced it’s a great day out but when you add it up with taxis to and from our hotel with lunch was probably close to £250 for a day out
