Then, visit Kusamba where you can learn about the salt panning process and join a local farmer at work. Following your salting experience, visit Sidemen Village, which has been compared to the popular destination of Ubud. The village straddles one of the many agricultural valleys that form the ramp up to the imposing peak of the volcanic Gunung Agung with panoramic rice terraces, farmlands and the quaint villages nestled in hills and valleys.
