Was a great trip. The Gide told us a lot about the country, nature and animals, which was very exciting. We saw deer, rabbits, foxes and frogs.

It wasn't the first time I went on a wildlife safari with a guide, with the intention of seeing moose. The problem here is the formula of going for a picnic in the woods first, until it's almost dark, so you couldn't see any animals. Then the guide drove us around while shining a flashlight over the fields because then the eyes of the animals reflected light. Occasionally he would say that he had seen eyes of a deer or of a fox. This was literally night and day difference from how they do it in Helsinki. There the guide knows where the moose and deer are their favorite spots. Last time in Helsinki I saw about fifty deer and 7 moose in broad daylight. On this trip south of Stockholm I saw 3 deer in the distance and 1 hare when it was still light. And in the dark 1 flying owl and in the distance in the dark very vaguely a few deer. 117 euros is a lot of money for a picnic with a cookie and coffee
