Full description

On this scenic tour, feast your eyes on the historic architecture and natural wonders of Twin Falls, Shoshone Falls, and the Snake River Canyon. Learn about the development of Twin Falls and the ancient volcanic activity in Shoshone Falls. Explore the Twin Falls Dam and I.B. Perrine Memorial Bridge.

Begin your tour with a drive through Twin Falls' historic Old Town and Warehouse districts. With examples of Neoclassical, Spanish Mission, Modern, and Gothic structures, Twin Falls is a study in architecture. See original buildings, such as the Justamere Inn Hotel, churches, and the Courthouse.

Next, head to Twin Falls Dam and admire the waterfall and views of the Snake River Canyon. There, watch as natural springs burst through basalt lava rock. As you approach the edge of the Snake River behind the dam, discover the hidden streams and hanging gardens.

Continue your tour at Shoshone Falls. You'll learn about the geological history behind the natural wonder that stretches back over 15,000 years. In more recent history, visit the hydroelectric power plant at Shoshone Falls, dating back to 1909.

Conclude your tour with a stop at the Visitor Center and a walk along the top of the I.B. Perrine Memorial Bridge, which spans 1,500 feet across the Snake River Canyon. Soak up the incredible natural views and the grandeur of the canyon and river below.
