This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Our tour guide, Angelica, was just about the nicest and friendliest person I have ever met. Our horse back riding guides were incredible too. The views from the horse trail was amazing. They don’t just have to sample a quick sip of each wine. We got about half of glass of everything we were trying. After all the wine tasting, they feed you. And they really feed you! And of course, serve you more wine! This was a great tour. I will warn though, if you are someone that gets car sick... the drive to and from in the van is pretty brutal. I recommend taking a motion sickness pill prior to leaving to avoid any sickness. Other than that, this was an amazing tour and I am so happy I went!
You are to be commended. From the first moment we met our guide to the end of the tour when our guide was able to leave us across the street from our hotel which happened to be on the way to the drop off location, the entire five plus hours was delightful. Our guide Sami was not only informative, but genuinely proud of Florence and the Chianti region. The winery owner explained in detail the wine and olive oil processes. Great wine ......my favorite was the white. The end of the evening was highlighted with a wonderful dinner. We would do this again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend your service.
Our guide, Angel, was amazing. He was very informative of the area, super positive, and he introduced us to a lovely little store in Chianti as well as a great winery. We loved the small group tour- much more Intimate. When we had some issues with mosquitoes, he procured some spray and saved us! This was a highlight of our trip to Italy.
It was a really great way to explore the streets of a very fun part of the city and it gives you a reason to run around after dinner. I enjoyed the historic information about the different buildings and clues. It was really just good fun and the perfect way to end a whirlwind day in Florence.
It was a fun way of getting around Florence, discovering parts away from tourist hot spots. It also inspired us to research the actual story and theory of The monster of Florence. Would 100% recommend this to everyone as something to do in the evening.
