Full description
Turin is famed for its great food. It is considered the home of the first ever 'Eataly'. While the city is best known for its chocolate, there is a vast and rich culinary tradition to be explored on this 4-hour tour.  Meet your guide at the Porta Palatina, an ancient Roman gate, then head into Europe’s largest open-air food market. You’ll wander through the many stalls selling local fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses. Then take a lunch break in the Quadrilatero Romano, one of the most picturesque squares in the city. Then visit the stunning Church of the Consolata, a jewel of Baroque architecture. Afterwards you’ll have the chance to taste Bicerin, the traditional drink of the city. Walk along Via Garibaldi to Piazza Castello, en route to the Palazzo Carignano, home to the Museum of the Risorgimento. Stop at Pepino, the bar that is birthplace of the famous Pinguino. Here you can try the first ever ice cream on a stick.
