Your adventurous Catamaran trip to Ile Aux Cerf begins with a hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off to Trou D'eau Douce. Arriving at there at 09.15 A.M, you will board to your Catamaran to enjoy this memorable catamaran cruise from Trou D'eau Douce to Ile Aux Cerfs. The catamaran cruise starts at 09:30 a.m., departing from Trou D’eau Douce on the East coast of Mauritius. The crew members will ensure that you have an enjoyable time, and they will be happy to tell you about local tales, jokes, and to play local Mauritian music which will lift the spirits of all on board. You will start your trip with a visit to the waterfall at Grand River South East before setting sail for the island of Ile Aux Cerfs. Then, when reaching the Grand River, you will go by speed boat to visit the waterfalls which are found about 500m upstream. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall. Following the visit to the waterfall, you will head back to the catamaran. The catamaran will then sail inside the crystal-clear water of the lagoon until stopping for a snorkeling & swimming break, where breathtaking coral reefs & tropical fish are on prominent display. After snorkeling you will enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch set on the beach or on the catamaran. We served a 3-Course menu onboard. Climb aboard the speed boat and jet off towards the beautiful Ile aux Cerfs. Ride at high speed along the coast to the lagoon. Then, travel inland to the magnificent Grande Rivière South East waterfall. Admire the beautiful white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and lush green mangroves of the entire island. Enjoy a delicious beach barbeque as you take in the beauty of your surroundings, before returning to Trou d'Eau Douce.

Embark on a trip by speedboat and visit the entirety of Mauritius' southeast coast and the nearby islands in one day. The tour includes not only a visit to the famous Ile aux Cerfs island and the pristine cascade of the Grande River South East, but also to Ile aux Phares and Ile de la Passe, providing an opportunity to learn a bit of the history of Mauritius in the colonial period. The site of Ile aux Phares is where, as the name suggests, an old lighthouse dating back more than 200 years stands, now declared a historical monument. In 1810, Ile aux Phares and Ile de la Passe were the theater of a battle between the French and the British, known as the naval battle of Grand Port, which is the only victory of the Napoleonic Navy and is also listed on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. You will then go to Ile aux Aigrettes for a swim then back to Ile aux Cerfs, where lunch will be served. Relax and sunbathe or just chill out on the beach or in the crystal clear water of Ile aux Cerfs before returning to the meeting point in Trou d'Eau Douce.

You will cruise from the jetty of Pointe Maurice and, head for snorkeling. Discover the incredible marine life around this sandy bank. Sip a cold drink while admiring the scenery and allow yourself to be seduced by the beauty of the lagoon, framed by mountains. Head to Ile aux Cerfs where lunch will be served in a quiet corner of a private beach. Sunbathe on the beach and enjoy a swim in the clear blue water before cruising back in Trou d’Eau Douce, where you’ll arrive at approximately 3:30 PM.

From Trou d’Eau Douce bay, board your catamaran and spend an amazing day on the privately owned island of Île aux Cerfs. Soak up the warm tropical sun while enjoying snorkelling, a delicious Barbeque and stunning scenery. Take a ferryboat to see the Grand River Southeast Waterfalls.  After departing in the catamaran, the cruise will head along the shore towards the Grand River where you can travel by small speed boats 500m upstream to see the Waterfalls.  The next stop on the day cruise will offer a chance to snorkel inside the lagoon and see underwater marine life and swim with brightly colored tropical fish and striking corals.  After snorkeling, the catamaran will head in the direction of Ile Aux Cerfs Island but will make a stop close to the main beach allowing a delicious barbeque lunch and drinks to be served onboard the catamaran while you enjoy stunning views across to the island.  While the catamaran is anchored, relax and explore the paradise island at your leisure, soak up the warm tropical sun and see the luscious island vegetation.  The catamaran will then return you to Trou D’eau Douce where you began your day.
