4. From Tropea: Stromboli, Panarea, Lipari Guided Day Tour

The Aeolian Islands are natural wonders to be discovered and the best way to do it is undoubtedly by boat. Take part in a mini-cruise to the Aeolian Islands to get an overview of these splendid islands, each one different from the others, and in just one day, you will be able to grasp the peculiarities of each island. Wind and sun have forged the character and identity of the islanders. A sea still full of fish and clean, caves and very high cliffs, stacks, and beaches with fine black sand, solfataras and mountains of white pumice, and all the charm of the island's environments. Despite the vicissitudes of history and the changes imposed by the modern world, this identity has survived with its customs and traditions. The archipelago of the Aeolian Islands, north of the Sicilian coast, in the province of Messina, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. Seven islands of volcanic origin some of which there is still a fair amount of volcanic activity. The largest island is Lipari, followed by Salina. The smallest, Panarea, is also the most exclusive island, preferred by VIPs. Stromboli, thanks to the intense volcanic activity of "Iddu" has seen a strong increase in tourism in recent years. Vulcano remains a very popular island both for the spa and for the tourist attractions. Finally, Filicudi and Alicudi, west of the archipelago and close to Palermo, are the islands for lovers of nature and tranquility. Alicudi does not circulate vehicles and is characterized by a wild and uncontaminated territory, ideal for a perfect Sicilian mix of beach holidays and trekking.

Superb all, shame about the inability to visit the crater on the island of Vulcano and not being able to immerse yourself in the natural mud due to too much gas. However, it is worth going to visit them, Lipari is very beautiful and characteristic. We rented a moped on site to get the best out of the island. Small Panarea and in my opinion superfluous but still nice, my positive note is an excellent almond granita eaten by the sea. Experience to do.

The Aeolian Islands are always a show Too bad Stromboli, we didn't land, but the excursion rate was not discounted: we tried to ask for a reduction but without result. So in the end we visited two instead of three. The guide on board is fantastic, friendly and prepared. All in all a very positive experience

A wonderful experience, well organized and very, very fun and aggregative. The Aeolian Islands are beautiful and certainly worth visiting with much more time, but to get an idea, the mini cruise is an excellent idea. Thanks to the staff of the tripodi, very kind and very prepared.

Visiting 3 islands and seeing from close real time eruptions of the volcano Stromboli. Great! Improvement points: you cannot pay by card on the boat so take cash. Also, the italian guide did not speak proper english and we did not understand the explanations

A really great experience! And congratulations to all the staff.
