Meet outside the Oslo Visitor Center at Jernbanetorget. Together with a local guide, take the metro to Frognerseteren station, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Start the hike down part of King Olav’s trail and over the picturesque Fuglemyrene before reaching the top of Vettakollen mountain. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Norwegian forest along the way. The Ice Domes are definitely worth a visit. The works and ice sculptures are incredibly well designed and detailed. The guide was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us a lot about Vikings and the Sami culture. In addition, I was very happy about the reindeer behind the house and about the vegetarian choice of food.
