After pickup by bus or minibus in the city center of Tromso, you'll drive 75-minutes to the Tromso Ice Domes. On arrival at the wilderness center of the Tromsø Ice Domes, you'll suit up in the warm clothes and shoes needed for your adventure. You'll get started with a thorough safety introduction and practical demonstration. You do not need any previous experience to drive a snowmobile, but you need to be physically fit.  You will drive in pairs with one driver and one passenger on each snowmobile. You will have the opportunity to switch places during the trip. On the tour, you'll discover scenic mountains and the dramatic snow-covered Finn valley. Start at 250 meters above sea level and climb up to 900 meters above sea level. The trail is 15 kilometers each way and you will be on the snowmobile for approximately 2 to 2.5-hours.  Due to the dramatic topography, you will drive at a reduced speed during parts of the tour. The highest point of the trail is on the ice-covered Lake Finn, where you can speed up and get your adrenaline pumping. If time and weather permits, you can try some ice fishing on the lake, too.
