Full description

Set sail on a hybrid electric catamaran cruise for the Arctic waters and observe marine animals in their natural habitat. Watch orcas and humpback whales feed in the icy fjords and admire the stunning landscapes around you.

Depart from Tromsø in the morning, and head out to where the whales are in time to enjoy the short hours of daylight. Take in the breathtaking views of frozen landscapes in comfortable, panoramic lounges, and multi-level decks. Find a selection of food and drinks for purchase on board.

Sail for about 3 to 3.5 hours to reach the whales and spend about 1 to 1.5 hours with them. The boat uses a hybrid engine to reach their feeding grounds. As you near the whales, the captain will switch to a silent electric engine that allows you to get close without disturbing them.

Really nice experience. We even saw a big group of humpback wales and then even a whole family of orcas, even though it is already end of January. Lovely guides, who give a lot of information about the region, the wales and the sea. Long boat trip with an amazing scenery, overall definetly highly recommended.

The weather conditions weren’t good for few days in a row so we opted for the fjord cruise at the end. Overall it was an enjoyable tour with little gifts of surprise by the crew. Not feeling too crowded even though there were 100 guests on the boat. It was always warm and comfortable in the cabin. This is the tour for those who love to be on a boat but at the same time are afraid of getting seasick.

Excellent! This is how our day went: 1. Drive to the whales, interesting information about the whales and the region during the drive. 2nd swing section, which was mastered well and those who were not doing well were helped quickly and competently. 3. Watching whales, simply beautiful and much more symatic with the electric motor and respect for the animals. 4. Return with soup (must be booked) and more exciting information about the animals.
