Full description

Join this expert-led, small-group excursion to see nature's finest light show. Take part in a chase where the destination changes depending on the best chance of seeing the lights.

Sometimes the drive will be out to the coast, sometimes inland, and other times past three fjords up to the Finnish border. The final decision is left as late as possible to maximize your chance of seeing the majestic lights dancing in the sky. Hop in the van and meet your group and expert guide. After finding the perfect spot, settle in and wait for the brilliant colors of the Northern Lights to appear. Your guide will help you adjust your camera so you can take the best photos of them. Enjoy some hot drinks and biscuits while keeping an eye on the sky. Enjoy an exclusive chase with a maximum group size of 16 guests. Your guide will be happy to answer all your questions and will take high-resolution photos to share with the group after the tour.

Stefan was a really nice, funny and well informed tour guide who took a lot of effort for us to see the Aurora. I wanted to use this special experience to propose my girlfriend and he was very helpful about it and also took the perfect picture as a memory for us :) I can highly recommend this tour since you can never forecast precisely if there will be the aurora to see but the guides are maximizing the chance of seeing it even when the conditions are not the best. Thank you a lot :)

Our family of 4 had a wonderful evening finding the Aurora Borealis with Mag, our guide who is also the company owner. Book with confidence, it's great. We came close to cancelling the day before, because Tromso was snowy and cloudy - but we thought we should try. Although we didn't get the full multicolour dancing skies experience, it was very beautiful and we were so glad we stuck with it. TIP 1: Be ready to jump from warm bus to cold night fairly quickly - we stopped quite a few times and you want to be ready to GO GO GO. TIP 2: Phone Photos. In theory you can't photograph the lights with your phone - BUT - if your phone has "Night Mode" (mine had a 30 second exposure) just get a £20 selfie stick tripod that has a remote shutter and you can get some pretty good shots yourself. Even the view of the night sky without much light pollution is well worth it.
