Bolzano: Historical City Center Guided Walking Tour

3. Bolzano: Historical City Center Guided Walking Tour

Your excursion will begin in Walther Square, a square which was completed in 1808 by order of King Massimiliano di Baviera, and initially named after him. At the same square, you will admire the Cathedral of Bolzano, and the Romanesque Basilica (1180), which was completed around 1420 in a Gothic style of the Suevian mastery. The bell tower, which stands 65-meters tall, was built by the Suevian architect Hans Lutz von Schusseried between 1501 and 1519. Next up on your tour is the Dominican Church, a complex comprising a convent, a large nave with different chapels, and a magnificent cloister. The organization of the tour was perfect. Our tour guide Francesco entertained us very well during the trip to Venice with lots of jokes and interesting facts about Venice and its region. We also received a lot of helpful information on how best to spend a nice day in Venice. Arriving in Venice, you had the opportunity to accompany Francesco on his tour. All in all, Francesco and his colleagues made it an uncomplicated, beautiful day in a very lively city. We would like to thank Francesco and his colleague for a nice, well-organized day!

Really enjoyed our trip to Venice. We travelled from Malcesine on lake garda so it was an Early start but worth it to see the sights. Tour guide was excellent and very clear with instructions on meeting places & times. They have to be strict as the boats & buses have timetables to stick to so can’t wait about for dilly dalliers lol. Food included was ok but nothing special. All in all a great way to see the sights of Venice if you’re restricted on time in Italy.

The trip to Venice was very well organized from start to finish. Our tour guide Roxsandra led through the program with a lot of humor, fun and a lot of knowledge. She gave us valuable tips for Venice and was always on hand. It was a unique experience. I already booked great excursions from get your guide during my trip to Vienna - and now again - I'm very satisfied. Thanks
