Well organise, met the guide as planned as per the joining instructions. The guide gave a brief overview of the events, as we walked across to the Tower of London. The guide (Rob) was easy going and answered questions from the group, that we could all hear. Tower of Londsn opening ceremony was amazing but what made it was that the tower itself was not open, so it felt really privilege to see this event The crown jewels is a must and cannot describe them other than WOW Tower bridge is for the mechanics and how the bridge works is amazing. The walkway above the road is one to do, especially walking over the glass element in the walkway. Overall for the cost of this private tour it is worth it especially for the Tower of London.
This tour was a highlight of our 2 week trip from Barcelona to London! Our guide Jo was not only incredibly knowledgeable about- Everything!, but she always put us in exactly the right spot at the right time for fantastic access! Did I mention her sense of humor? She had us laughing constantly; her historical remarks were highlighted with humorous anecdotes with perfect timing! The Crown Jewels and armor exhibit at the Tower rival any traditional museum visit, and we saw the Horse Guard change at the palace after a very pleasant river excursion on the Thames. Great Tour!
Early access worked perfectly! Tons of people already in line outside by 7:30am and we bypassed them all. The opening key ceremony was good and getting first access to the Crown Jewels was huge! After we came out the line was HUGE! Rob was a great guide as well. Very knowledgeable and easy to listen to.
Our tour guide Robert was outstanding. He was welcoming, highly informative and had an excellent sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour!
Laurence was a super guide with excellent knowledge of English history and he conveyed the excitement of the location
