    The closest Tube station to Tower Bridge is Tower Hill on the District and Circle lines. The Tower Gateway DLR station is just as close.

  • How often does the bridge open?

    Bridge lifts are booked in advance for passing ships. There is no set schedule, but if you want to be sure to see the event, times can be easily found on Tower Bridge's official website. Failing that, you can book a bridge lift yourself for free. All you need is a very tall boat!

    You can view and walk across the bridge 24 hours a day - just watch out for when it opens up!
  • Is it expensive?
    Free to walk across. The exhibition costs about £10 depending on ticket type

Really enjoyed our trip to London and our package we purchased. We wanted to do the London Eye and hop on hop off bus - the river cruise was an additional extra thrown in and ended up being the highlight. We ended up walking most of the way around the city, only using the bus twice - both times to go just one stop. Magnificent views from the London Eye - but the cruise was just wonderful. We went from Tower Bridge to Westminster. The guy speaking was really funny and the facts super interesting. The baileys hot chocolate on board also delicious. Would absolutely recommend.

Me and my girlfriend truly enjoyed our ghost bus tour with Barrid Alive. He is very hilarious and the tour is very eerie with comedy. Recommend this especially this halloween season.

Funny, at times a little risqué and dare I say it but maybe even scary...informative! Well worth every penny! Our 7 and 8 year old loved it.
