Full description
In the morning, you can be either picked up at select hotels/locations in Tokyo or meet your guide at the designated location in central Shinjuku. Start your tour by visiting the Meiji Jingu Shrine, the biggest shrine in Tokyo (approx. 40 minutes) and the Imperial Palace East Garden (approx. 40 minutes). If the East Garden is closed, you'll explore the Imperial Palace Outer Garden and the Niju-bashi bridge. Also you'll be able to see some symbolic Tokyo landmarks such as the National Diet Building on the way there. Later go to Asakusa, one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo (approx. 45 to 60 minutes) and then go to the Ryogoku Area, known for its sumo culture, for lunch. If you select the lunch option, enjoy a Japanese chanko hot pot lunch, known as a special dish for sumo wrestlers. After lunch visit the Tokyo Sky Tree and enjoy the mesmerizing view of Tokyo from the first observation desk. You can also enjoy shopping in Soramachi. See great views such as the Rainbow Bridge and Odaiba area from the deck of the cruise, it’s a great 360 degree panoramic view. After the tour, you can choose to be dropped off at either Shinbashi Station or Shinjuku Station.

What a great experience we had!! We had the BEST tour guide named Levin. He was funny, knowledgeable about the history of Japan, welcoming and all around great tour guide. Having a great tour guide can make all the difference. He was the best we ever had. The imperial palaces are beautiful, the Skytree view is spectacular and the lunch provided is absolutely delicious. Thank you Levin for making our tour a very memorable one. If I ever come to Tokyo, I would want to see Levin again. The tour was great because of our Tour guide Levin... he gets a 11/10 from us in Australia.

I would recommend the Tokyo sightseeing tour to both first tint Tokyo visitors or the seasoned traveler. In one day we visited many of the major tourist sites in air-conditioned comfort which was wonderful. That said, the best part in my opinion, was the overview of the greater Tokyo city attractions and Japanese culture by Blake (our guide) That in site informed helped greatly in our decisions for the rest of our wonderful holiday.

Ok to get an idea of tokyo

If you have little time to visit Tokyo and you want a day to be able to see the most important things in Tokyo this tour is for you. Dense and interesting agenda, you walk a lot and there is not much free time. But it's the right compromise. Nice guide speaks basic English. Audio guide for basic information (can be improved) Comfortable bus Good and rich lunch in a tourist restaurant
