Great sights, great views of the town from the castle top.t’s best to wear sturdy shoes, some of the grounds at the castle can be really slippery. The guide Tony was good, attentive, speaks good English. I probably would have given 5 stars if I did not meet Ilir the day before, which was the most amazing tour guide I met in Albania ( he was not available at this time). I had to differentiate though.

Iliar (I think that’s the correct spelling) our guide was amazing. Very professional friendly great personality knew a lot about his culture history and the places we were visiting. Very accommodating and efficient with time. He went above and beyond. Offered to take our pictures bought snacks and drinks. It was my birthday and at the restaurant he had the staff surprise with a fruit platter wishing me a happy birthday. We have nothing negative to say. The best guide we had during our entire 3 week trip in Europe. We would definitely recommend him. The excursion itself was very good and what was expected from the description. Amazing views, culture and food.

Es war ein richtig schöner Tag. Man sollte sich Albanien unbedingt anschauen und nicht nur in Tirana bleiben. Bledi war sehr sehr nett und hat alles getan damit ich mich rundum wohlfühle. Da ich alleine in Albanien war, war es auch sehr angenehm dass er fließend deutsch spricht. Danke für den tollen Tag :)
