The tour will start from near the Circus Maximus metro stop so exceptionally easy to reach. We then lead you through the heart of ancient Rome passing the Palatine Hill with a view of the Emperors Palace to the Orange Garden on the Aventine Hill. The journey begins in Rome's charming Trastevere neighborhood, where you will wander through the piazzas and cobblestone streets to an open-air market. Meet Emiliano, who has been running a stand in the market for decades and tase local gourmet products such as cured ham and cheese.  Next, enter one of the oldest churches in Rome, the Basilica di Santa Maria, and admire its gilded murals and Cavallini mosaics. Head to the Tiber River and enjoy a 25-minute ride downstream to reach Sant'Angelo Bridge. Take in the views of St Peter's Basilica from Sant'Angelo Castle and regroup for the second part of the tour.
