We enjoyed our visit to the Mary Rose Museum very much, from the very start it was brilliantly done, Henry welcoming you was very well done,. When the ship went into battle., my goodness it was so realistic and when it went down, it really felt as if you were on it, . All round the museum the staff were so knowledgable and so interesting to listen to. Well done to everyone it is well worth a visit, the only downside for us was the videos on the ship were not working, our friend who had never been before thought it was good anyway, but we feel the videos just bring it all to life. Hopefully they will be working again soon.

The ‘virtual’ start was seven minutes of fascinating information and introduction. I was with my two 8 year old grandsons who were fascinated for a good hour after that. The ship, the vignettes on board, the tools, the digital target practice and food choices were enjoyed. A great day out - and as we had to walk past The Victory to get there they had a taste of that too. We bought the junior booklet which they read on the train home.
