Full description
This full-day tour from Tel Aviv explores the holiest city Jerusalem, the spiritual sanctuary to the 3 great religions of the Western world - Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Dating back over 4 millennia, the Old City is packed with sites and draws visitors, regardless of their spiritual leanings. During the tour you will see some of the city’s most holy places, including the Mount of Olives, the Via Dolorosa, the Western Wall and more. You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning for the drive to Jerusalem and the Mount of Olives, one of the highest peaks in the city, where you can enjoy a panoramic overview of the sights below. Travel along the Kidron Valley to the Garden of Gethsemane and the walls of the Old City. Enter the Western Wall Square via the Armenian Quarter, and stroll through the Bazaar to the Christian Quarter. You will see the Stations of the Cross on the Via Dolorosa, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, site of the crucifixion. Walk along the 1,700-year-old Byzantine main street, the recently restored Roman road of The Cardo, and the renovated Jewish Quarter. Soak up the magical atmosphere of this most sacred of cities, before descending through the Judean hills to the shore of the Dead Sea. The drive to the Dead Sea is without a guide, but once you have arrived at the lowest place on earth, you can swim, float, or enjoy a mud-bath to benefit from the rich-minerals that the natural Dead Sea is renowned for. Transfer back to Tel Aviv for the end of your tour.

What a brilliant trip!! Our guide Zahi was awesome! Jerusalem became a lively story with many antidotes and little nuggets of information from someone who clearly loves Jerusalem and it's people! The dead Sea was fabulous and again we were given great tips to enjoy it to the fullest! If you can....book this trip with Zahi as your guide!!

All the experience was great. The guide knew a lot of facts and stories about the places we visited. I think the stop by the road for the Elvis coffee shop was unnecessary. We traveled with a wheelchair and the guide made a slow passed tour so that we could transport the wheelchair and see the things without problems.

Jerusalem was ok, dead sea was great

Jerusalem felt a bit rushed, and we lost time because some people of our group got lost, even though the guide told everybody to stay close... However, we still did some great things, and the guide was very good. Also, the dead sea was an amazing experience. I would still recommend overall.
