Full description
Spend a day exploring Israel’s beautiful Mediterranean coast on this full-day tour departing from Tel Aviv, Herzliya and Netanya. An expert guide will take you in a climate-controlled bus to visit ancient cities and monuments along the coast. To begin, your guide will take you to discover the splendid harbor city of Caesarea. This ancient Roman city boasts impressive Roman ruins, including one of the largest amphitheaters built in the Roman era. Next, you will journey to Haifa to visit the Baha’i Gardens. The Baha’i gardens feature stunning terraces and are one of Israel’s top attractions. Your guide will make sure that you have the opportunity to photograph the terrific UNESCO-protected gardens before continuing on to Rosh Hanikra. In Rosh Hanikra, you can explore the area’s limestone grottoes. Rosh Hanikra also features beautiful white-chalk cliffs that overlook the Mediterranean Sea. From the cliffs, you can peek over the border into Lebanon before continuing to Acre, in the north. The Old City of Acre is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and features impressive city walls, a charming port, and an oriental bazaar. Your guide will detail the ancient city’s fascinating history, as you wander the historic streets that were known to the Greeks, Byzantines, and, Ottomans.

The visit to Caesarea was beautiful, in Haifa we just got off the bus (but there was probably little else to see). The caves were suggestive but in Acre, as for the other tours, too much time was lost for the lunch break and an obligatory stop in the souvenir shop. Akko's visit would deserve more time. Prepared guide.

Pick-up and Drop and the transport service was perfect. All the three places - Caesarea, Rosh Hanikra and Akko are beautiful places. However, there is a lot of fast-paced walking and tour that one needs to be ready. It is understandable if you need to cover so many places in a very little time. The restaurant was average, bare minimum eating option. Tour guide was nice and informative, however, she was describing most of the stories on the bus rather than at the actual location. We kept sleeping off on the bus since we were tired and missed out on a lot of stories! It would have been nice to hear the stories while standing at the actual location, rather than remembering them on the way to the location.
