Full description
This full-day tour takes you to the holiest of holy cities, spiritual sanctuary to the 3 great religions of the Western world, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Dating back over 4 millennia the Old City is so packed with sites that it draws visitors from around the world, whatever their spiritual leanings. You will be traveling with a government licensed tour guide in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles, although there will be some walking, so come prepared. You will stop at the Mount of Olives to take in a panoramic view of the dusty city below. Enter the Old City and tour the major attractions, such as the Wailing Wall, Temple Mount and Dome of the Rock. Walk through the Jewish and Armenian Quarters and the recently restored Roman road of The Cardo, visible on Jewish Quarter Street. Head through the bazaar towards the Western Wall, or Kotel, and proceed along the Via Dolorosa to visit the Church of Holy Sepulcher, also known as Church of the Resurrection and said to be the place where Jesus is buried and was resurrected. An essential place of pilgrimage for Christians since at least the 4th-Century, whatever your beliefs the atmosphere is mesmerizing. Leaving Jerusalem behind, you will drive to Bethlehem to get an overview of Shepherds' Field and to visit the Church of the Nativity, one of the oldest continuously operating churches in the world. Located on the West Bank in Palestine, the city is heavily dependent on tourism and thousands come every year to worship or just watch at Manger's Square where Jesus is said to have been born. Now pedestrianized, the square is surrounded by streets named after the Lord, including Star Street and Nativity Street. It is also home to the city’s only mosque and the Palestinian Peace Center. Take a moment to reflect or pop in to one of the handicraft shops, before the drive back to Tel Aviv, Netanya or Herzliy.

I booked the tour in German, but then I did it in English, because there were so few people, I found it totally bad, why do you book a tour in German then? the driving style was sometimes borderline, in Bethlehem they are then switched to private cars, what they delivered in terms of driving style, you have to be happy when you get out of the car alive, otherwise the tour was very revealing.

Jerusalem Great time, Bethlehem pure tourism

Jerusalem is impressive, I would recommend anyone to book a guided tour to get an insight. The best thing would be a day tour, then you really have time to get to know the city. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time on our tour and were only about 10 minutes away. at the wailing wall. We were glad that we were still in Jerusalem for 2 more nights, so we could still go out and enjoy the city with more time and collect great experiences and impressions. We didn't like Bethlehem, long wait 1.5 to 2 hours. and then you will be there for about 1min. smuggled through the birthplace of Jesus. Then you are led to a souvenir shop where you should buy something and then to a restaurant where you should eat something. But we didn't do that. That wasn't in Get your guide in the description either. Jerusalem yes, Bethlehem no, I wouldn't do it anymore.

    Enjoy in Israel

The beginning was bumpy, my group was on the road and a driver brought me to the next meeting point, the trip alone and the conversation with the Israeli people and the world was a big point, thanks. Jerusalem is a beautiful even without the hotspots, the tour was completely good and the impressive from the Oelberg to the wall requires no explanation, a must ..... If someone has small children and is planning a trip, leave it. Conclusion full score
