What people are saying about Te Anau

The entire day was awesome, starting with being picked up out the front of our hotel and the helicopter ride over the bay and up too Luxmore hut. Our 2 guides were very friendly and made the day even more enjoyable, some of the group couldn’t make it all the way up the mountain to Mount Luxmore so the group split and one guide took 4 of us all the way up the mountain and the other turned around and waited back at Luxmore hut. The walk to the top is well worth the effort for those who have reasonable fitness, the views are just stunning. The walk down back to the beach was very challenging and steep in some spots but again our guide set a good comfortable pass. I would totally recommend this tour to all my family and friends and consider it a must do.

We had the most amazing trip!! All the staff were lovely and helpful, nothing was too much. Our pilot was Matt, he was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease, I was nervous about our flight as I’d never been on a helicopter before, but by the end i was sitting in the front! It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience and would highly recommend anyone to do it, I know you wouldn’t regret it!

Fantastic trip. The best way to see the Sounds. The 2 landings on the top of mountains made it extra special. Views were spectacular
