Full description

Explore Kazbegi, the mountainous region of Georgia. Feel the Caucasian Georgian spirit in the Caucasus Mountains. Take many beautiful pictures, hear exciting parts of the history, try the traditional Georgian dish Khinkali (Dumpling), discover the most beautiful part of Georgia, and get unforgettable memories.

Your first stop is Zhinvali Water Reservoir on the Georgian Military Highway. The Soviets constructed the dam in the 1980s—a wonderful place to take amazing pictures.

Visit Ananuri Fortress, the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area around the 13th century. See stunning views of the fortress and Zhinvali Reservoir. Have lunch in Pasanauri, the homeland of one of Georgia’s traditional foods: Khinkali.

Admire the Friendship Monument of Georgian and Russian people in Gudauri, on the Georgian Military Highway. Contemplate the history of this fascinating monument overlooking Devil's Valley in the Caucasus Mountains.

Explore one of the most beautiful places in Georgia, Gergeti Trinity Church in Kazbegi. Get a panoramic view of the whole valley from the church, which is one of Georgia’s most iconic attractions. Be impressed with the view of Mount Kazbegi, standing 5047 meters tall.

Go to a local luxury hotel and have a cup of coffee in the stylish restaurant while you relax with stunning mountain views.

Fantastic day. First we stopped at the reservoir and Ananuri fortress. The views were surprisingly breathtaking and the best of the day. Then a lunch spot in a traditional restaurant. Then to Gudauri and the friendship monument. Again beautiful views. Finally we got to Kazbegi where we spent the most time. We took a 4WD up to the church to look over the city and had a coffee in a 5 star hotel with floor to ceiling glass windows.

Hello! I highly recommend everyone to use the services of Elle and her team) from the day before our trip, Elle just led us by the hand, it was the easiest trip and the most fun. Elle wrote to us the day before the trip, on the day the trip was supposed to start, and during the trip she constantly asked if we were okay. It’s just that I honestly didn’t expect such a service, despite the fact that I saw how many foreigners were on different routes) Ella managed to write to everyone and find out how she was feeling and how the trip was) Guide) Our guide was Alexander, who loves history to the point of madness, he is also an archaeologist. He is constantly in contact with us, tells about everything, loves his profession to the core and does his job for 100%. I want to take a tour from Elle and her professional team again) Just trust Elle and her team like we did.

This was our second tour with Gamarjoba Georgia Tours since they went above and beyond during our first tour with them. The place we visited is a must go to anyone coming to Georgia and trust me you would not regret it. Again the tour was organized really well and George (Gamarjoba Georgia Tours) was really informative and took time to answer any questions we had also. Do ask him to help take pictures for you because he is a really good camera man. Again no regrets choose Gamarjoba Georgia Tours and would surely recommend them to anyone visiting Georgia
