Full description

Depart from Tbilisi on a full-day tour where you will hike through the Caucasus Mountain Range and into the picturesque Jutra Village, stopping at the Dariali Gorge and Gveleti Waterfall along the way. Start your journey at The Rooms Hotel in Kazbegi. During this stop, get an opportunity to eat, have coffee, and relax for an hour. The Rooms Kazbegi’s stylish restaurant is decorated with wooden furnishings and serves international cuisine.  Have a drink in the lobby bar, while meals can be enjoyed on the terrace with a spectacular view over Mount Kazbegi and the Gergeti Trinity Church as well as the surrounding forests and woodlands. Continue along the Georgian Military Highway and see the road’s unique sights before a visit to Dariali Gorge. Discover the two hidden waterfalls here and admire the rivers below them. Next, head over to the Gveleti village, located in Kazbegi, and begin a 1 km hike so you can see the scenic views of the Caucasus. Arrive at the Gveleti Waterfall, which can be translated as "the Snake’s Waterfall”, and be amazed by the breathtaking views of one of the most splendid waterfalls in Georgia.  Afterward, visit the village of Juta, located 2,200 m high above sea level. With only 18 locals surrounded by alpine area, it's a great place to escape civilization. The village is situated on the main hill of the Caucasus mountain range at the source of the river Bakurkhevi.  Lastly, enjoy unforgettable views from Fifth Season Hostel. It's a peaceful place where you can grab a drink and take in the stunning landscape of the multiple mountain Chaukhi peaks. Become entranced with the dreamy location, where clouds and mountains appear to ‘dance’ around each in an impressive performance every second.

We really enjoyed the company of lado and marina though it was just 4 of us do the hiking, it happened to be an extra amazing and fantastic day having them as our tour guide. Both of them really did a great job explaining and giving more smile to our faces. Alot of fun fact from both of them. We really recommend both of them for this tour. Happy we did.

It was a walk far from being easy but with sublime landscapes. The guide, Shotti, was incredibly nice and friendly and he didn't rush me or the group at all, we walked at a pace that suited us. We were a small group of 4 people, + the guide, so it was a small group walk, for my part I prefer small groups. The 1st stop in a hotel was very pleasant, we were able to have a coffee and relax. The 1st hike to see the waterfall, in Gveleti, was the most complicated for me because a lot of climbing and rocks. The 2nd hike, to Juta, was much less difficult and more relaxing, we were able to rest for 1 hour and order what we wanted in front of a splendid view.

It was an amazing walk with incredible Sofia! There were three of us in a group + a guide, and I had the feeling that I was walking with friends. The Gveleti waterfall is very beautiful and majestic, and the views from the 5th Season Hotel are simply incredible! To dine, lie on poufs or hammocks overlooking the green mountains is priceless. There we saw cows and horses, and then a group of ducks came right to our table. You should definitely go on this tour in order to fall in love with the mountains not only with your eyes, but also with your feet.
