1. Drink Tasmania Signature Tour: Wine, Cider, Beer and Whisky

Spend a day sampling the traditional drinks of Tasmania on this guided tour. Enjoy natural landscapes and a tasteful combination of award-winning wines and ciders. Start the day at Brooke Street Pier on the picturesque Hobart Waterfront. After a welcome coffee, the tour sets off to the beautiful Huon Valley, home to Tasmania’s bountiful apple and cherry orchards. Sample award-winning wines at Home Hill Winery, including sparkling, chardonnay, pinot noir, dessert wines, and more while taking a leisurely stroll through the vineyards. At Pagan Cider Cellar Door, experience traditional farmhouse-style organic apple ciders and compare them to more modern examples made from a variety of fruits from the valley. Delicious cider tastings at Willie Smith's Apple Shed, and local produce from the valley will be on offer for lunch. In the afternoon we head to the Hobart Brewing Company for a brewery tour and tastings of their beers, then it's off to either Spring Bay Distillery or Charles Reuben Estate, both amazing distilleries with delightful spirit tastings. Often a visit to the Tasmanian Tonic Company is in the cards, with a tour of their production and taste of their products that aren't available to the general public. Say goodbye with a farewell drink, a taste of the famous Lark Classic Cask Whisky, at Lark Cellar Door or The Still.

What people are saying about Tasmania

Fantastic tour. We had the best and most knowledgeable tour guide “Tasman” or Tas for short. His knowledge of Tasmania and the wine, whisky, gin and cider was second to none. I would highly recommend this tour. We had a best day.

A fun-packed day which was very well organised. Our guide, Tas, is a local who is passionate about Tasmania, and his knowledge and stories made the tour very authentic. He was very entertaining, too! Great value for money!

Distillery tour was excellent, our guide John, was fantastic. Lunch was also excellent as was the whisky and gin. The atmosphere is wonderful, abeautiful old manor, great service and friendly staff, well done.

Taz was great and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the trip and wines, cider, gin and whiskey. Not quite sure about the beer.

Great tour guide, locations and just an incredibly fun day with great people!! Couldn’t recommend more highly!!
