Then, you will need to meet your bus at 11:00 to continue on with the Port Arthur tour and get a sense of Australia’s convict era and the early settlement of Tasmania. Thankful that we picked the full day tour because you really needed the entire day to explore the Port Arthur Historic site. The full day gave us a deeper exploration into Port Arthur and Tasmania’s overall history. If you are lucky you will get Mark as your guide who was super informative, helpful and overall a fantastic guide! The full day tour includes some stop overs into Richmond and a few breath taking look outs. Overall I highly highly recommend a tour as you will learn way much more than you would if you went on your own.
