As senior citizens, we found the tour guide, Toomas to be patient and well informed. We were pleased that the tour was completed, though there were only two of us. Riding in the snow, ice and slush was a new experience for us, thus we started out slowly, but became more confident as we continued. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Tallinn! We would recommend it as a good way to see the sights of Tallinn! One of the bikes had a brake problem due to the cold. We had proper safety helmets and vests provided. We appreciated concluding the ride with a hot beveraqe! It would be nice to experience a tour in better weather.
Our guide Maria was enthusiastic and had a lot of information about history and daily life and we had the feeling of really getting an insight in Estonian life. It was also family friendly - our 4years-old got a seat and our 10year-old the right bike and helmets. Both liked it somehow, even though the older one got bored some time (as he did not understand the guide). It was not too far tho drive and worth the money.
Can highly recommend this bike tour. Guide shares the major historical places and we got to cover quite a distance in a short time. Still in a nice pace on comfortable bikes. Places we never would have known about or got to easily. Afterwards we walked the streets of Old Town and headed back to the ferry. PS: If you have a "big head", bring your own helmet (if you want one).
Excellent guide and tour of Tallinn. Was expecting that part of the tour was in the old town. More comfortable to walk there though. Very nice to see a larger part of Tallinn all the way to the arena for song festivals and the presidential palace. Beautiful park and houses around the area. The bikes were in good condition and the staff very helpful and quick.
We loved it! Nice tour with a little bit old bikes in not perfect conditions. Tour was real fun we saw a lot except for Tallinn‘s Old Town but we saw Katharinental Castle and Park, Presidential Palace including the changing of the guards, lots of parks and fountains, historic monuments, Russalka Memorial, Laululava and much more.
