We chose the 6.5h option in Helsinki, with a departure at 10:30 am - return 7:30 pm. With the constructions, not very easy to find in Tallinn Terminal D. You have to arrive in advance and exchange the voucher for the tickets. The reservation number is the most important. The boat is huge, there weren't a lot of tourists. Sea of oil, sun, but take a small sweater because it is windy. Possibility to eat and drink on the boat. When arriving in Helsinki, several possibilities: take tram 7 or 9 to go to the center (but it's a big city, not a lot of interesting things to see). We opted to go to Suomenlinna, the maritime fortress. The ferry there leaves from the city center, we took a taxi to go there as it is far. We spent 3 hours at this peaceful place. The taxi cost € 16, the ferry € 1.50 (the price of a ticket). Tallinn is not expensive, but in Helsinki the prices are high. Masks are regularly worn in transport.
We had an enjoyable trip with Jaan. He is a friendly guide and knows his work well. He explained about things on the way to the Lahemaa, like how the life is for locals, what the history was. History of how Estonia came into being demographically as well as geologically. We found about a lot more than what we could not find in books about Estonia and the places we visited.
I bought round-trip tickets for a family of 4 at a nice price. Everything went smoothly. I got the necessary information and tickets through the iOS app. I recommend.
It was a wonderful experience having a trip to Tallin using this Ferry. We will be using the same way to Tallin in the future. It was comfortable, even for the kids.
it was a wonderful experience. You learned a lot about huskies. The guides were very friendly. Definitely recommendable.
