The ferry over to Tallinn from Helsinki was very comfortable. It is more comfortable and less crowded in the upper deck. Tallinn is definitely worth the visit. It is a beautiful medieval town. I wanted to see all of the sights as I only had one day and left the market until the end. Unfortunately, it started raining, and everyone closed up at the market early so I really didn't get to buy anything. Also found out that the market closes around 6:00 pm. So if you want to buy something at the market I would buy it earlier. They had amazing prices at the market and had many items you could not buy in Helsinki. Absolutely loved Tallinn & was definitely worth the visit!
The tour itself was great. Mikk, our guide for the day, was amazing and very knowledgeable about Prangli Island, so much so that we thought he was a resident. The island itself is amazing and great to have a nice hike (there are 3 hours of free time during the trip). The only thing that could be improved is to let guests know what is being served for lunch as we were served fish which not everyone in the group eats. Apart from that, the tour is very highly recommended.
It was a good time for me because I learned a lot from this tour. Jonas was my tour guide and he helped me even after the tour. I had really good experience in the local restaurant and cafe which Jonas recommanded me to visit.
Very smooth process. Just make sure you get to the terminal about an hour before the departure time, just to be safe. If you're late you won't be allowed to travel. Estonia was lovely and had an old style charm.
I appreciated the space and the services that were offered on the cruise during my trip. I had a very nice experience and I highly recommend a day trip to Tallinn from Helsinki.
