This is a small and intimate sanctuary with 7 friendly elephants. We had the chance to spend alot of time with Adele who is super gentle and funny. Also got the chance to play with a baby elephant called Tang Mo. Were lucky and got the whole place to ourselves in the morning. Highly recommend!

I wish I would have written down the name of our guide. She was excellent. She was early to meet us at our hotel. We went to the two temples first and then on to the Royal Palace. This is an excellent tour. The temples and palace are absolutely gorgeous. These are must see sites to see when you are in Bangkok. We started right at 8:30AM so not too early and were done by early afternoon. We opted to stay in the old town area and grab some lunch before trying unsuccessfully to find some tourist t-shirts. The guide suggested a really cool restaurant near the palace for lunch and even walked us over there and got us situated before leaving. The lunch was probably the best food we had in Bangkok. Hopefully get your guide can figure out who our guide was and keeps her busy because she was great.
10. Khao Sok: Full-Day Bamboo Rafting and Elephant Bathing
Following pick-up from your hotel in Khao Lak, head to the Takuapa local market (only guests picked up from Khao lak, guests from other pickup locations will not visit local market) to browse and look at all the products. From there, continue to the elephant rescue camp. Feed these amazing animals some bananas and cool them off with a bath. Next, visit the monkey temple. Eat a Thai-style lunch at the local restaurant next to the river before bamboo rafting along the Khao Sok river. Enjoy as your guides gently glide the bamboo rafts downstream as you admire the dramatic limestone mountains and serene sounds of the jungle. Stop at the river bank for some trekking and relaxing in the front of a limestone cave after enjoying a coffee break.
