You will board a comfortable boat where you can sit on the deck or inside to experience the journey. Start your experience at the port, where you'll receive your boarding card and a map with information about Symi Island. It takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the island of Symi. You can sit on the deck or inside, wherever you feel is most comfortable. The first stop will be the Monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis where you will have approximately 1-hour of free time for your individual visit. You can light a candle or walk around and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this holy place. Continue the boat cruise, following the precise boarding time provided at the front of the boat. Enjoy a scenic 1-hour cruise around the island’s west coast, including a small 20 min stop by the famous Bay of St. George for a swim. Entering the little harbor of Symi you will be amazed by the colorful houses and many private sailing boats and yachts. You will then have approximately 3.5 hours of free time for your visit. Symi village is full of beautiful, neo-classical mansions, folk and art shops, many cafeterias, hospitable taverns, and stalls with sponges and wooden carvings.
