Explore Australia's capital city from Sydney as you enter a new state, leaving New South Wales for the day. A morning tea stop (not included) en route will allow you to stretch your legs and visit a country town before arriving at the ultra-modern Capital. Join a guided tour of the New Parliament House and feel the might and privilege of Australian democracy through this architectural masterpiece costing $1.1 billion. From the inner halls of power to walking on the roof, this is an amazing building. Break for lunch (not included) before choosing where to spend your free time: The National Museum of Australia is controversial and popular, Australia's most modern museum has won national awards with its interactive mix of exhibits and displays highlighting Australia's diverse history and culture. This tour allows time at Floriade between September to October each year. Australia's biggest and most popular flower festival. Canberra's Commonwealth Park is transformed into a tapestry of colour with more than a million bulbs and annuals in bloom at this month-long festival. Rejoin the group for a time of reflection as you discover the legends of Gallipoli, the ANZACs, the sacrifices and losses suffered by Australians in past wars fought around the world at the Australian War Memorial. Drive past Yarralumla for a close look at the many national embassies, each one unique and designed to reflect aspects of the country's culture. The trip was perfect! You really get to see the most important things in the city and Peter is the perfect guide. He showed and explain everything to us clearly. It’s also very good to drive through the countryside because you get to see how different it looks from the city. Definitely recommend this trip if you want to explore Canberra.

Small group. All super nice. Especially the couple from Cairns. Lent me a sweater because it was cool and windy in Canberra that day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and funny too. And was also a good and safe driver. And right from the start he sought contact with each and every one of us. You felt really good. Thanks!

The guide was very interesting which often makes all the difference during a guided tour. We wasted 25 minutes waiting for a family of 4 who didn't consider the time to get back to the bus after the war memorial tour. So we lost precious time because of them. We have already done several other guided tours and in Ireland, after 5 minutes of waiting, the bus left without waiting for latecomers. It's a matter of respect for other passengers.
