While you visit Hippodrome, close your eyes to hear sounds of running horses and roar of spectators cheering on their favorite teamsas they careered round the Hippodrome. Your next stop will be Sultanahmet Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque, which is located on the site of the original Byzantine city. Built in the 16th century, it is known for its magnificent interior decoration, distinguished by blue Iznik tiles, beautiful domes and semidomes, nice courtyards, and six slender minarets. After visiting Blue Mosque, your next stop will be Hagia Sophia, the largest Byzantine church in the world. Our guide Hikmet Köksal was just great. Not only that he can serve as an instructor for every history teacher, he is also super friendly, speaks perfect German and takes you to places in Istanbul that you would otherwise not see. The restaurants we went to together were also extremely good. If we should make it to Istanbul again, it would always be with Hikmet. So here you really do everything right when you let Hikmet show you the city.

Baris was an awesome guide to have while touring Istanbul. His knowledge of the city and its history went well beyond surface level, and we were able to have many interesting conversations where he answered all of our questions. He was also a very accommodating guide, curating the tour to our interests and questions. I recommended his guidance highly.

Outstanding 3 days with Semih as my guide to Istanbul, saw all the major sites, but also lots of places that I probably wouldn't have got to without a guide. Semih's had lots of information on each site, and I came away with a much better understanding of the history of the city. This was the best way to get to learn about the city

An unforgettable, impressive experience. Tour guide Ayla is just SENSATIONAL .... I can only recommend it !!
