In this tour, you can admire the wonders of nature. The tour starts in Bucharest and heads towards Prahova Valley, where the Prahova River makes its way between the Bucegi and the Baiu Mountains into the Carpathian Mountains. Prahova river separates the Eastern Carpathians chain from the Southern Carpathians. Historically, this corridor was the most important passageway between the principalities of Wallachia and Transylvania. Once we arrive in Busteni city, you will first visit one of the most popular caves from Romania - Ialomitei Cave and the Monastery Pestera located in National Park of Bucegi. After that you will ride the cable car up the mountain until you reach the beautiful Bucegi Plateau. Here, you can admire the spectacular figures such as the Sphinx and Babele carved in rock. The figures were naturally “carved” by the wind and rain.Transfer back to Bucharest.

This tour will get you to the top of the highest mountains in Romania – the Fagaras Mountains, known as the Transylvanian Alps. The tour will start with Fagaras Fortress, the only fortress in Romania that is surrounded by a moat, the residence of Michael the Brave. Between 1948-1960, the castle was used as a prison and in a tower known as "The Iron Lady," medieval torture devices were found. Nowadays, you can visit Fagaras Country Museum and the Municipal Library in the fortress.   The tour follows the Alpine road that goes through the Fagaras Mountains with Moldoveanu peak at 2544 meters. After following the beautiful views through Balea Valley, you will make a stop to Balea Lake to admire the breathtaking views. This is not the only breathtaking view on the tour. We continue through the longest road tunnel in Romania (887 meters in length) to reach Vidraru Dam and Vidraru Lake where you will make a stop to admire the views. Afterwards, you will continue to the ruins of Poienari Castle, where legend has it that in 1462, Vlad Tepes retreated with some of his soldiers to the Poienari fortress after being chased and cornered by the army of Mehmet II “al Fatih”. To reach Poienari Fortress, you will have to climb 1450 steps by foot. The tour ends back in Bucharest where we will arrive late in the evening.

Start your journey towards Bulgaria. It is bordered by Romania to the north, Serbia and Macedonia to the west, Greece and Turkey to the south and the Black Sea to the east. Bulgaria is Europe's 16th largest country with a territory of 110,994 square kilometers. Here, you will visit Veliko Tarnovo which is located on the Yantra River and is famously known as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire, attracting many tourists with its unique architecture. The most popular landmark is the historic hill Tsarevets, which held the capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire. Other attractions include the historic hill Trapezitza, the Samovodskata Charshiya, numerous medieval and Bulgarian Renaissance churches and the ancient Roman fortress of Nicopolis ad Istrum. Late in the evening, you will return back to Bucharest.
