Stroll the cosmopolitan streets of Strasbourg on the market days of Wednesday and Friday to experience the city's everyday vibe, and visit many of the historical landmarks as you taste the produce of the Alsace. Set off from the monumental Strasbourg Cathedral and make your way through the pedestrian districts of the historical city center. Arrive at a central food market to sample local cheese, traditional bread, cold meat, Alsatian brioche “kouglopf”, and delicious French wine. See major landmarks such as the striking stained glass windows of the Maison Kammerzell hotel and the bronze statue on Place Gutenberg of the man who introduced printing to Europe with his printing press.     Not a food tour instead a tour about food

    This a tour where they talk about food not a tour where they feed you different Alsatian dishes. It started at 9:00 am and walks you around the city discussing the different foods of the area. It was interesting and our guide (Ariana) was great. But, we were under the impression that we would be going to different places to eat. After 40 minutes and two starving teenagers, we asked about food. No food until the end when they give you a lot of different wine to taste along with some fruits and cheeses. We ended up stopping to get some food for the kids midway through. This tour is not good for kids or teenagers. No real food only alcohol with some cheese. Also, probably a bit overpriced for basically a glorified walking tour (and I rarely complain about price
