This was a perfect tour! Be sure to do this early on in your trip so you can have a general idea of where everything is. It was a perfect balance of sight-seeing and physical activity. The bikes were light-weight and great! Its so much better than a walking tour. You cover a much larger area in a much shorter time in a cooler way.
Discover the Stockholm archipelago, just 45 minutes outside of Stockholm. The archipelago is formed of about 30,000 islands located in the calmness of the Baltic Sea. In the past, it was home to numerous farming and fishing shelters and was a Viking trading outpost. The surface of the water is overhung by domes made of rocks and trees creating a unique natural maze which is perfect to explore on a kayak. Begin the tour, by meeting your guide at 9 AM in the South of Stockholm. Drive together to Dalarö, a charming little village, from where you'll embark on your kayak adventure. On the way, admire the magnificent little wooden red houses which have been discreetly built among the pines. Spend the entire day exploring different islands from the water. Stop on one of the deserted islands for a filling lunch cooked on an open fire. Take time here to rest, accompanied by the swell of the Bal...

Enjoy a day exploring a Nature Reserve, a protected area, or one of the many islands in the archipelago at your own pace, without having to prepare anything. Take your pick from aa variety of hikes to choose from when you come to collect your equipment. Hikes available range from 6km to 13km and from moderate to challenging levels. On these hikes you will see deep coniferous forest, beautiful lakes and saunas. You can also hike on Stockholm's archipelago, go through pine-tree forests, rocky landscapes and beautiful beaches. Take a dip in the Baltic Sea and maybe observe some wildlife, but also picturesque traditional red wooden houses, harbours and ruins. You'll be provided with the how, the where and the equipment, all you need is the enthusiasm and some experience.
Your adventure begins at Skärgårdens Kanotcenter, where you’ll meet your guide and take part in a safety briefing. Your guide will help you to make some adjustments to the kayak if needed, and will also discuss the route. Once you’re familiar with the basic paddling and safety techniques, it's time to hop into your sea kayak to explore the winter archipelago from the perspective of the water. Follow your guide as you explore the beauty of Vaxholm and admire typical Swedish architecture. With its famous fortress that was used to defend Stockholm and traditional fishing cottages in the harbor, it's the perfect place to get the full archipelago experience. Whilst kayaking and exploring the islands from the water, listen to local stories about the area, which was once home to Vikings over 1,000 years ago. Soak up the...
We highly recommend to do the winter kayaking tour or any other tour with these guys. It was awesome! As nature lovers, we enjoyed it very much, although it was a rainy day. We were the only crazy people in the Archipelago kayaking which made it very special. Andy gave us many great tips, explained a lot about Sweden, the Archipelagos etc. And on top of that, we had a great Fika. Thank you Andy for that fantastic day and that fantastic service! We’ll be back!
Meet your guide and fellow travelers for the day to come at the meeting point. Here you will be briefed about the day's itinerary. By van we'll make our way out of Stockholm and into nature. The drive will be about 30-40 minutes. The hike will start in dense pine forest and alongside a lake. After coffee with cake you'll continue the hike and here the path combines with one of Sweden's most famous hikes: Sörmansleden. The route starts to go up and the area suddenly changes into rocky plateau's. Reaching Stockholm county's highest point you stop for lunch. When you continue the hike the area starts to resemble savannah areas more than it looks like Swedish forest. The last part of the route will go through open green forest and past a lake before you arrive to the van. There's swim opportunity if you got too warm! Remember to bring a towel. After a dip you'll be transferred back to t...
Great trip, definitely recommend it! The guide Patrick was very nice and told us many interesting things and we also got a great lunch made on the fireplace.

Biking is certainly one of the best ways to discover Stockholm, and the Swedes’ favorite mode of transport when spring comes. Delve further into Stockholm and visit Sodermalm, known to the resident hipsters as "SoFo." This tour avoids the main attractions to the city. With your e-bike, you'll ride up and down SoFo's many hills without breaking a sweat. SoFo is steeped in history, has a vast array of beautiful architecture and is bursting with quirky cafes, bohemian shops, and vintage boutiques. It was voted the ‘coolest’ neighborhood in Europe by Vogue Magazine back in 2014, and anyone who visits will agree; it certainly does not lack character. Discover SoFo's charming atmosphere for yourself. It also some of the best views of the city.

Very positive. She provided knowledge & insight into the foods we sampled as we as peripheral information about why these foods are popular with the Swedes. She also interjected interesting facts about the city, weather, and history. She made the tour feel like we were out on the town with one of our family. Awesome experience.
The guide was good and it was a lovely group. Fun with nice tastings mixed with the city's history. Would possibly like more "food" and less sweets.
Great guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly and proffessional. Informative. A five star experience.
Nice as a thousand, was probably 12,000 steps and a full stomach and with many impressions.
Absolutely fantastic. Very nice guide, food fantastic! Highly recommended!
