really good boat trip to see the islands. try to get a seat at stern where you can take in both sides of the view as the boat cruises . pick up a printed map on the boat so you can follow the route and high lughts of certain islands. the 2.5 hr passed quickly, good coffee shop and snacks on boat as well as restaurant, although we took sandwiches on board ourselves. it rained a bit on the return trip but outside spaces are covered. can be chilly if its a cold day, wear a jacket, they also provide some blankets for you to cover up. good guide but only 8n english and swedish i think. well worth it.
This tour was a beautiful way to spend an overcast morning in Stockholm. The 100 year old boat was quite full, but many of the guests were in the dining room, leaving plenty of space around the outside to sit and take in the spectacular scenery. Within a few minutes we were out in the archipelago surrounded by tiny islands, dense forest and quaint red summer houses. A truly wonderful way to see how Swedish people live outside the city. I highly recommend this tour as a great start to your holiday in Sweden.
Wonderful boat and the whole trip of 2 and a half hours was enhanced by a brilliant guide who mixed humour with a lot of information about the highlights on the different islands. Did not have a lunch but nice coffee and snack.
Announcer said would identify sites by clock positions and rarely did. Fell back on nautical terms and left/ right directions. Left many of us trying to find the size, frequently without success.
Beautiful trip, great price, convenient location, decent boat, would have liked more comfortable seating choices outside with views - get there early to be towards front of line!
