The young instructor assigned to us was clearly new and finished our briefing in 5mins. However, for a later batch, a senior guy gave detailed and correct instructions. But, there's nothing to worry, the learning curve isn't too steep. We initially went round in circles for first few minutes. But, soon figured out ourselves how to go forward and steer. Excellent guidance on route selection and help in getting in and out of the kayak by the other staff members. Remember to carry water to drink on the kayak, you will get thirsty. 2 hours is more than adequate to do a full circuit of both Långholmen and the smaller Reimersholme islands. The route is quite beautiful especially in the smaller canal sections. A waterproof action camera or case for your smartphone is highly recommended for taking pictures along the way. If the weather's good, there will be lot of private boats creating waves. Be wary of those! We almost got turned over by a big one! Happy Kayaking!
Although the day started raining the weather turned out nicely. The "short" trip to get to the starting point was a little sightseeing tour by itself. After some short instructions we headed out with the kayaks. It's about 1 1/2h to get to this place but it feels like you are in a different place fare off the civilization... if you enjoy watching nature you will definitely enjoy this trip :)
A very good idea how to present the city in unusual but very interesting way. Morgan was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable about all the sights on the way. The tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Stockholm and I would definitely recommend it!
My girlfriend and I went on this tour - we did a lot of tours of the city and this was the most fun, and really informative and beautiful. Really can't recommend it highly enough if you're looking for a memorable experience. The guide is a total dude too.
What a wonderful day! We really made memories today! Chris was a great tour guide. We travelled in a small group of six. Everybody was so patient with me, even though I was the slowest of the group. Thanks a Million!!
