You’ll be picked up at your hotel or guest house in the morning and returned to the same location at the end of the day. See the 3 tumbling rapids that make up the Concord Waterfalls. You’ll also visit the Douglas spice plantation, and have an opportunity to taste rum at the River Antoine distillery. You’re sure to enjoy this day of discovering Grenada, the unspoiled spice island where nutmeg is king!

St George's: Gouayve Fish Friday Festival with Transport

2. St George's: Gouayve Fish Friday Festival with Transport

Your Fish Friday experience begins when you are picked up at the hotel by a minivan for a drive to Gouyave. Arrive in Gouyave, which is about 12 miles (20 km) north of St George’s on Grenada’s west coast. The fishing hub of Gouyave began its weekly Fish Friday tradition to promote community development and to keep a bit of its annual June 29th Fisherman’s Birthday celebration going all year long. Roam the town on your own and soak up the lively atmosphere—often called “the town that never sleeps,” Gouyave throws a good party. Wander up and down the streets that are closed to traffic, checking out the many stalls selling heaps of freshly caught seasonal seafood, from lobster, conch, and shrimp to barbecued snapper, codfish cakes, and jerked marlin. While you eat, listen to live music, mingle with locals and, most importantly, have a good time. Beverages like fresh juice and beer are also available for purchase (all food and drinks are at your own expense). When it’s time to leave, return to the van for the drive back to your hotel. A guide is present at the festival if you need assistance or information, but this is mainly an independent activity.

Grenada: Chocolate Tour with Lunch at Petite Anse

3. Grenada: Chocolate Tour with Lunch at Petite Anse

Discover Grenada, the Caribbean capital of chocolate. Meet your local guide at your hotel lobby in St. George's and start the adventure to discover the chocolate culture of the island. Grenada’s volcanic soil, warm sea air, and sunshine are perfect for growing cacao. The story of Grenadian chocolate goes back to 1714 when cocoa trees were first introduced. The industry grew to the point that, by the 1760s, Grenada was the largest producer and exporter of cocoa. Meet the local chocolatiers who run a small cocoa farm and factory. Learn about their farm and their philosophy. After that, continue the journey on an air-conditioned vehicle until the next stop, Petite Anse. Enjoy a tasty lunch of local authentic cuisine featuring fish, with a rich sauce suitable to satisfy the taste buds, while overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

I highly recommend booking with this tour company . Ronnie (the owner) was unable to conduct my tour but he made arrangements to have an associate, Mr Ted provide the tour to my sister and I. Ted was super nice and knowledgeable of all the parishes/ villages. He Gave great insight on Grenadian history. Service was excellent from start to finish! Kudos to them both.

We had the most amazing time in Grenada. Ronnie was the most incredible tour guide. He was so informative, helpful and personable. We really enjoyed our vacation, mostly because of Ronnie’s hospitality and knowledge of the beautiful island of Grenada. We can’t thank him enough.
