We booked an organised tour due to the distance from Split where we were staying to Plitvice Lakes. The tour we picked seemed to be the best on offer due to time in the park, cost & timings - at the time of booking we chose the option to have self-tour the park rather. It was all very organised & from the start, Sandra the tour guide was excellent, giving very helpful information during the long coach ride. She informed us that, for no extra cost, we could join her tour of the park if we wished. She showed us which areas of the park she would cover on a map & due to wanting to see as much of the park as possible we decided to join the group tour. We were not disappointed - we saw such a lot & Sandra was a fab guide - giving us enough but not too much info & very clear instructions on when & where to meet during free time. We were very glad we joined the group tour as we definitely made the most of our time at Plitvice NP.

Made my entire trip the best with Bookers from GetYourGuide and with such a talented and informative guide is the best point to add-on. Travel between Split & Park is 3hrs (quite long distance) but it totally worth taking the effort to visit the park. The bus driver as well as the guide are so kind with everyone in the group and it made my trip didn't feel like I travelled solo. Most lucky part is there is sunshine by grace and had such a great day by wandeling 11kms. Excited to refresh the memories and made an unforgettable life time experience. Great choice and worth for such an affordable price. Thanks to the entire team.

Amazing trip. Sandra our tour guide was communicative from the second we started. She was very funny, very educational and the one thing I loved was she knew most of us by name pretty much immediately. Which made it so personal. Best tour guide I have had. The lakes themselves breathtaking and just so peaceful
