  • Follow the River Korana as it weaves around caves
Full description
Plitvice Lakes were declared a National Park in 1949, and in 1979 joined UNESCO's List of World Natural Heritage sites. This park is one of the most precious natural sights in Croatia, with its mystical caves, 16 lakes, and 92 cascading waterfalls which flow into Korana River. Depart from Split in the morning and enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive through the beautiful Croatian countryside to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Treat yourself to a morning coffee along the way. After arriving at around 11:00, embark on a 3-hour guided tour down the park's wooden paths, weaving around the park's many lakes and stopping for lunch amidst the scenic surroundings. Once at Kozjak Lake, you will cross the lake by boat and follow the paths of this fairyland towards Prošćansko Lake, where you will board an electric train and begin your journey back to Split, returning to the city at 19:30.

If you don't want to walk in the park as a group, you can walk alone. If you don't want to act as a group, you can act alone. It's OK if you can meet with the group at entrance 1 at 3:30 pm. Departing from 7:40 Split, arriving at Entrance 2 at 11:20, boarding the park bus and breaking up with the group at ST3 at 12:00, I was able to move freely. The guide instructed me to follow the model course H course. There was a bus with Apodos written on it at Meeting Point and advance information, but nothing was written on the large bus, and an uncle in plain clothes called out and said, "Plitvice? This bus." However, I was worried whether the tour was really correct without confirming the ticket or name. After that, there was no reservation or confirmation of the name. A regular admission fee to the national park was collected from the guide on the bus. There are no extra fees. Collecting money from all the participants, the guide bought all the tickets at once at the par

This is a must see. Our tour guide Barbara was very pleasant. But was a little surprised what I had paid did not included the entry into the park. But the pick up location in Split was great! The staff was very helpful. The ride was 3 hours but Barbara was giving us information while on the drive was great!
